Overview of Role:

As part of a heating maintenance team the post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive repairs and maintenance service to domestic heating installations and appliances in client properties. You will be able to analyse, fault find and carry out repairs and services in a professional manner and to a high standard in compliance with and in accordance with current regulation / legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training (training can be provided)
  • Previous experience in diagnosing faults on domestic gas central heating systems.
  • Full driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work alone and within a team
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience is Desirable but not Essential.

Wet Room Installer

Salary: Up to £35,000 Per Annum Plus Incentivised Payment Scheme

Office Location: Ewell, covering Wandsworth

Overview of Role:

Responsible for carrying out the duties of an experienced Wet Room Installer in the field of Wet Room Installations and Adaptations within the Building Division of T Brown Group and to support the provision of contracted building services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • City & Guilds / time served trades person.

  • Minimum of 2 years repairs and maintenance /construction site experience
  • Experience in a customer service type role, dealing directly with residents
  • Climbing stairs and roles with a high degree of mobility, i.e. walking/lifting/loading & unloading vehicles
  • Certificate of Training Achievement for Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid (1-Day), or other.
  • Good understanding of verbal and written instructions
  • Understanding of and commitment to providing high quality services and customer care
  • Willingness and ability to undertake further training and development related to the role
  • Able to work self-supervised
  • Adept at establishing relationships with all parties involved in the construction process that facilitate harmonious working relationships during project, and permit prompt resolution of problems and conflicts as they occur.

You will be required to attend; check works in progress and advise on any faults in respect of safety/quality as well as on potential actions required/taken.

The successful Quality Control Inspector will be able to analyse and assess workmanship, have previous experience in fault finding, carrying out repairs and services, They will be able to report findings in compliance with and in accordance to current regulation / legislation.

What do you need?

  •  ACS qualifications – minimum of CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CKR1, HTR1 & CPA1
  • Energy Efficiency knowledge and experience
