The successful Domestic Gas Engineer will be able to analyse, fault find and carry out repairs and services in a professional manner and to a high standard in compliance with and in accordance with current regulation / legislation.

What do you need?

  • ACS qualifications – minimum of CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CKR1, HTR1 & CPA1
  • Energy Efficiency knowledge and experience
  • Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training (training can be provided)

As part of our heating maintenance team, our Lead Engineer will be expected to support a team of heating system servicing operatives who provide services in domestic heating systems and appliances in customer’s properties.

The successful Lead Engineer will be able to assist and advise the area team on work progress, monitor the operative’s performance, and produce improvement plans where required, provide technical support, identify any training needs within the team. You will be customer focused, with good leadership and communication skills, and carry out your work in a professional manner and to a high standard in compliance with and in accordance with current regulation / legislation.

What do you need?

  • ACS qualifications – minimum of CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CKR1, HTR1 & CPA1

What will you be doing?
As part of a Quality Control team our Domestic Gas Inspectors are required to quality check all works carried out by our operatives (company, agency and Sub-Contractors) for gas installation, maintenance and non-gas works (Post inspection). You will be required to attend; check works in progress and advise on any faults in respect of safety/quality as well as on potential actions required/taken.

The successful Domestic Gas Inspector will be able to analyse and assess workmanship, have previous experience in fault finding, carrying out repairs and services as well as manage own workload on a day-to-day basis. They will be able to report findings in compliance with and in accordance with current regulation / legislation.
